If you've registered before the official global launch of Guild of Guardians on May 15th, congratulations! You are eligible to earn some goodies once you've met the criteria listed below within the first 30 days after launch. 

Criteria

• To be eligible for the rewards, you must have registered before the official global launch of Guild of Guardians.
• You must have logged into the game and played before June 14th, 2024, 23:59 UTC to claim your reward.
• Ensure that you log into Guild of Guardians using the same Passport account you used to pre-register.

Disclaimer

• The pre-registration rewards, such as 10 Summoning Stones, will be distributed to your Guild of Guardians account via in-game mail once the game has globally launched.
• Players must be registered in Guild of Guardians using the same Passport account they pre-registered with to receive the rewards.
• Pre-registered users must play before the specified deadline to claim their reward.

How can I earn $GOG tokens by playing Guild of Guardians?

• Leaderboards Rewards: Participate in the Competitive Season across various modes to earn rewards! Seasons last 1 month, and are a mix of Endless, Arena, and Boss Rush Leaderboards, and more. Your rewards will depend on your performance and global ranking in these competitions.

What are $GOG tokens used for in game?

Access to Altar of Sacrifice: $GOG tokens are used to power Altar transactions, covering primary creation fees and minting fees. The Altar allows players to combine specific items and Guardians, following recipes, to create new or enhanced NFTs. These recipes are crucial for balancing the game's economy and adding depth to gameplay.

Players can obtain Cracked Hearts by sacrificing Radiant Guardians and $GOG tokens at the Altar of Sacrifice. The type and number of Guardians and the amount of $GOG tokens required depend on the rarity of the Cracked Heart desired.

Eri's Store: Ascension Seals and other items can be purchased directly from Eri’s Store using $GOG tokens. Buying from Eri’s Store often provides a discount compared to in-game purchases.

Gruff's Vault: Players actively participating in the ecosystem may receive loyalty bonuses through active staking of $GOG tokens in Gruff's Vault.

Payment: $GOG tokens can be used for transactions within the Guild of Guardians NFT marketplace. A portion of the marketplace fees (20%) paid in $GOG tokens is allocated for active staking rewards.

Radiance

The concept of "Radiance" in Guild of Guardians refers to a special progression system for Guardians that have been minted to the blockchain, transforming them into "Radiant" Guardians. Guardians are transformed into Radiant Guardians through the use of Ascension Seals, which can be purchased in game or on the Web through Eri's Store.

Benefits

• Enhanced Guardian Power: When a Web2 Guardian is minted to the blockchain, they become "Radiant," which enhances their power significantly.
• Tradability: Radiant Guardians become tradable on marketplaces, allowing players to buy, sell, or trade these Guardians with others.
• Special Visual Effects: Radiant Guardians often come with special visual effects that distinguish them from their non-radiant counterparts.
• Chroma Cosmetic Variants: Players have a chance of obtaining a special "Chroma" cosmetic variant, which alters the appearance of the Guardian but does not affect their stats or abilities.

Increasing Radiance

• Enlightenment Process: Radiance works in tandem with the Enlightenment process. You can use a duplicate Radiant Guardian during Enlightenment to increase both Enlightenment and Radiance levels simultaneously, maximizing the Guardian’s potential.
• Using Radiant Souls: Radiance can be increased by using Radiant Souls, a special resource obtained by sacrificing other Radiant Guardians. This process has a chance to increase a Guardian's Radiance level increasing the Guardian's power.

Only Rare, Epic, and Legendary Guardians are eligible for Radiance, with each having a specific maximum Radiance level that can be achieved.

Guilds

Guilds allow players to collaborate, tackle challenging content together, and access exclusive guild-only features and rewards. Joining a guild enables players to be part of a community, share strategies, and improve together.

Key Features

• Creation and Management: Players can create their own guild if they own a Guild Token, or join one of the many existing ones. Managing a guild involves anything from inviting members, setting roles, and coordinating guild activities participation.
• Creation and Management: Coming in December 2024, players will be able to chat with other members 
• Levels and Upgrades: Guilds can level up and higher levels unlock additional benefits and capabilities for all guild members.
• Guild Bosses: Guilds have access to a rotating assortment of powerful bosses to challenge. Successful encounters yield valuable rewards that are banked by the Guild and used to create Artifacts and Essence Boxes used in crafting potions.
• Guild Crafting: Members can contribute Essence to create boost the quality of Essence Boxes which can be then be minted and sold or distributed by the Guild Leader. The Guild Leader then has the ability to distribute royalties proportional to member contribution, or however else they may see fit!
• Leaderboards: Competitive leaderboards can often track performance based on Guild and provide corresponding rewards depending on the season!

Gameplay Suggestions

Story Completion: Playing through all available zones to better understand the Dread and the threat they pose. Where did they come from, what do they want, and other answers to discover.

Guardians, Gear, and Guilds: There are many paths for improving performance in battle to turn the tides against the Dread in your favor! Explore Guardian Enlightenment for improving your Guardians, minting and increasing Radiance to further improve a Guardian’s stats. Work to hunt down better gear for your Guardians to further boost their stats, or unlock new perks by finding Guardian specific gear. Join other Commanders in a Guild to receive a variety of perks and work towards shared glory!

Leaderboard Competitions: Once you’re well underway in your journey in Elderym you’ll be able to participate in additional competitive challenges against other Commanders for glory and rewards. Try your hand at the Endless Dungeon: a gauntlet of varying biomes, modifiers, and see how far you can make it. Collect points for your progress and compete with others to see who will come out on top and be rewarded for your skill and effort!
