What is a Blockchain?

A blockchain is a decentralized, distributed ledger that is used to record and verify transactions involving digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies and NFTs.

A blockchain is made up of a series of blocks, each of which contains a number of transactions that have been verified and added to the ledger. Each block is linked to the previous block in the chain, creating an unbroken, tamper-evident record of all transactions that have been executed on the blockchain.
