Pre-Registration Rewards Explained

If you've registered before the official global launch of Guild of Guardians on May 15th, congratulations! You are eligible to earn some goodies once you've met the criteria listed below within the first 30 days after launch. 

Criteria:

• Pre-register during the pre-registration period.
• 10 Summoning Stones will be distributed to your Guild of Guardians account via in-game mail once GOG has globally launched.

• Pre-registered users MUST play before June 14th 2024 23:59 UTC to claim their reward. Keep an eye on your inbox for more updates!
• Players must be registered in Guild of Guardians using the same Passport account they pre-registered with.

Once you have done all of the above within 30 days of the start of Global Launch your rewards will be automatically distributed to help you carry on the fight against the Dread! 

Radiance Overview

In GOG when a Web2 Guardian is minted to the blockchain, they become “Radiant”. This confers numerous immediate benefits to the player including:

• Guardian power is enhanced
• Guardians become tradable
• Players have a chance of obtaining a special “Chroma” cosmetic variant
• There are UI, visual, and title changes applied to Radiant Guardians

Guardian Radiance can progress through multiple tiers of advancement, requiring a progressively increasing amount of a special resource known as “Radiant Souls” to be consumed at each Tier. These Radiant Souls can only be obtained by sacrificing other Radiant Guardians (i.e. burning NFT). Through this process the player has the opportunity to increase their Guardian’s “Radiant Power”, the likelihood for which is dependent on the number of Radiant Souls that are sacrificed in order to increase a Guardian’s Radiance level, a valuable attribute that improves the power of their Guardian.The more Radiant Souls sacrificed, the higher the likelihood of increasing Radiance!

How can I earn $GOG tokens by playing Guild of Guardians?

• Leaderboards Rewards: Players can earn $GOG tokens through the monthly "Endless" Leaderboard and the weekly "Arena" & "Rush" Leaderboard. The rewards are based on the player's performance and participation in these leaderboards.
• Guild Crafting: Guilds can produce brand new NFT items called Artifacts, which can be sold to other players to generate rewards for the entire Guild. These Artifacts can directly increase the share of $GOG rewards which players can earn by competing in the various Leaderboards.
• Guild Resources: Guilds have a wide range of resources available to them that are earned by their Guild Members and are used to create NFT Artifacts. These resources include Guild Coins, Guild Treasures, and Knowledge Stones.

Gameplay Suggestions

• Story Completion: Playing through all available zones to better understand the Dread and the threat they pose. Where did they come from, what do they want, and other answers to discover.
• Guardians, Gear, and Guilds: There are many paths for improving performance in battle to turn the tides against the Dread in your favor! Explore Guardian Radiance for improving, minting and then once again further improving a Guardian’s stats. Work to hunt down better gear for your Guardians to further boost their stats, or unlock new perks by finding Guardian specific gear. Join other Guardians receive a variety of perks and work towards shared glory!
• Endless Competition: Once you’re well underway in your journey in Elderym you’ll be able to participate in additional competitive challenges against other Commanders for glory and rewards. Try your hand at the Endless Dungeon: a gauntlet of varying biomes, modifiers, and see how far you can make it. Collect points for your progress and compete with others to see who will come out on top and be rewarded for your skill and effort!

Where are Pets?

After working diligently to redesign pets in a meaningful way the team hasn't landed on a direction they were happy with and as a result they will not be available for Global Launch. Founder Pets, like Founders Guardians, will have a similar head start once in the game, but we're not yet sure of when that will be.

Pets are currently planned to join us in Elderym on the 15th of August 2024 starting with integration of existing pets into the game. After which, we’re looking at features like merging duplicate pets to enhance their skills and introducing active pet battle skills for more interactive gameplay experiences.
